June 20th 5:30-7:30pm Maker's Night.
This will be our last class held at the Hobby Lobby classroom. While the cost of the classroom (free) and convenience of jewelry supplies at the store has made this an easy choice, easy is not always best. Due to Hobby Lobby's discrimination against LGBTQ+ in their hiring practices, and their refusal to provide employees with adequate reproductive health care options, I cannot justify holding classes in their store. I apologize for the inconvenience in not having an alternative location to announce, and more so for holding classes in a location where many students did not feel comfortable attending. I hope to resume maker's night in August at a new location.

I do not get it until now on why some people are having a lot of trouble when it comes to LGBTQ+. It is not their fault on why they wanted to be what they wanted. Let us all give and recieve respect in order to have happiness. There is nothing wrong with being whoever they wanted to be as long as they are not hurting anyone. It is their freedon, it is their rights and we are obliged to give the rights they have, the same rights that we have.
